I.P. 82 is a useful supplement for those experiencing anaemia, as iron phosphase is involved in red blood cell production. Regular supplementation with I.P. 82 will help to treat iron deficiency anaemia, reduce hypotension and other symptoms associated with iron deficiency.
Adults: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily with meals, or as professionally prescribed.
For children under 12 years, take only as professionally prescribed.
Iron phosphate - 15 mg
Contraindicated with conditions of iron overload. No clinically significant side effects are noted in the literature at the recommended dosage.
Iron may decrease the absorption and efficacy of some medications. I.P. 82 should be administered at least 2 hours apart from methyldopa, carbidopa, levodopa, thyroid hormone, penicillamine, tetracyclines, quinolones and bisphosphonates.
Suitable for use in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
