It is a patented, pleasant tasting, coated tablet which makes it easy to swallow each day.

A Phase 3 Randomized Trial of Nicotinamide for Skin-Cancer Chemoprevention from the OnTRAC study published in the New England Journal of Medicine in October 2015, found that among high-risk patients, taking 500mg of Nicotinamide twice a day was associated with a lower rate of new non-melanoma skin cancers (squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma).
