Clinicians Women's Hormone Support provides 100mg (per capsule) of Di-indolylmethane. Di-indolymethane aids in the detoxification of harmful oestrogens in the human body, and is extracted from brassica vegetables.
Di-indolylmethane is a simple derivative of Indoyl 3 Carbinol (I3C) which is extracted from brassica vegetables. It has been known for a long time that consuming adequate amounts of brassica vegetables (cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts) is important for the body's natural defences. I3C is an active substance which metabolises DIM in the stomach. DIM has greater activity than I3C and acts in a beneficial manner to support estrogen balance in the human body.
DIM is a molecule that has been studied for 25 years.
Adults take 1 capsule twice daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Vitamin E (as d-alpha-tocopheryl succinate) 33mg
Also contains: Tapioca powder.

I have PCOS and have always had irregular periods; within a couple of months of starting DIM my periods became much more regular. It was prescribed to me as part of a natural hormone therapy. It helps to down-regulate the oestrogens in women who are oestrogen-dominant and low in progesterone. Obviously there is other things you need to do to keep hormones in check, such as diet considerations, and upping progesterone levels, but DIM definitely helps quite a bit.
