To Make a Cup of Tulsi Green Tea – Loose Leaf: You will need a “tea basket†that inserts into a cup or an individual empty tea bag. Place a tablespoon of Tulsi tea leaves into the tea basket or tea bag, and place in your favourite mug. Bring clean fresh water to boil, and pour boiling water over Tulsi tea leaves in your cup. Cover and let steep for 5 – 10 minutes. Remove tea basket or bag and enjoy. Use more tea leaves for a stronger flavour and less for a milder flavour, as per your taste. Please note: The stronger the tea, the more potent the benefits.
To Make 1 Quart of Iced Tea: Pour 2 cups of boiling water over 8 teaspoons of tea, cover and add sweetener if desired. Infuse for 20 minutes. Strain and add 2 cups of cold water, and refrigerate. Pour over ice to serve.
