Cow Lick Lip Balm 5g – Looking for a safe lip moisturiser without the chemicals? Then this is perfect for you. Made using Coconut, Apricot, Jojoba and Sweet Almond Oil to hydrate and nourish your lips. Allantoin helps the repair of minor cuts and we’ve also included some Mandarin Orange Peel Oil as it works to encourage repair and keep your lips in a healthy state...and it just tastes nice.
Strawberry Tinted Lip Balm 5g – Beetle-free and totally edible. When we were looking at how to add a subtle and natural colour to our lip balm, we found that most other brands used “Cochineal” as their natural red colouring. This can also be called “Carmine”, “Natural Colours” or “Natural Red Number 4”. This is made by boiling Cochineal insects in water and extracting the red dye from the insects as it breaks down. Although there is nothing wrong with this (except if you are a Cochineal beetle), it made us feel a bit funny about having bug residue on our lips, and so we looked for something nicer.
After much searching, we found that Red Beetroot Extract gave a much more natural looking colour, and was totally bug free! Don’t worry, it doesn’t taste like Beetroot, it’s just the colour. We use a natural strawberry flavour for the taste, so you’ll be licking your lips, which is A-OK because it’s totally edible.
Tingling Honey Lip Balm 5g – This lip balm is made to speed the repair of dry and chapped lips. Menthol is well-known for its sterilizing effect so this helps prevent infection. Like many of our products, it also has Allantoin which is a repair superstar. Combined with Honey, which is also known for skin repair, this balm has already performed minor miracles on lips. This one has a "lemony tingle" upon application.
SPF 15 Lip Balm 5g – Like all our Lip Balms, we made our SPF 15 Balm to be edible as well as moisturising and conditioning for the skin. We all want soft and healthy lips without having to eat petroleum jelly or UV Filters. We use Zinc Oxide for natural, physical sun protection, along with some natural moisturising oils to make this one of the most natural SPF lip balms ever. So go and enjoy the sun.

What ingredients do you avoid when making a lip balm?
There's lots of things you won't find in these lip balms (or any of our other products) because they were all formulated for family members and close friends. This includes Paraffin and Mineral Oil which derive from petroleum, but are commonly found in most commercial lip products. We don’t think putting the stuff that goes into our cars on our lips is the healthiest thing we can do, especially when everything on the lips eventually gets eaten.
We also don’t use any synthetic preservatives such as Parabens and Phenoxyethanol, although they're pretty common too, including with a few brands that claim to be natural (you know who you are!). We avoid a lot of other things too, way too many to list here.
