The main herb in the OKU Adult Chest and Throat Elixir is Kumarahou, which is a remarkable herb known for its actions on the respiratory system. It has an ability to not only help with acute coughs and colds but may also strengthen respiratory function when used on-going with more chronic-like conditions such as asthma, COPD, ex-smoker’s, etc.

The other native herbs used in this blend all have some traditional use in addressing infections, or have a soothing or expectorant action which makes this formula suitable for either wet or dry coughs.
